YachtWorld.com Monthly Billing FAQ

You told us you don’t like weekly billing: and we heard you! Beginning in April, we are moving to monthly billing.
This will mean that your bill will be the same size every month and you will no longer be charged based on whether there are four weeks or five weeks in a month.

Below is a list of the most commonly asked questions:

FAQ – Monthly Billing
1.    Q: Why are you moving to monthly billing?

A:  You asked us to.  The number one request that we have received from clients is to move from our weekly billing model to a monthly billing model.

2.    Q:  Will I be billed the same amount each month?

A:  Yes!  You will be billed the same amount each month. One of the biggest complaints about our previous model of weekly billing was that clients were charged based on the number of weeks in a month.  With our new system you will no longer be charged different amounts for “four week months” and “five week months.”

3.    Q: Are you raising my rates again with this transition to monthly billing?

A:  Absolutely not!  Your annual rates will remain the same.

4.    Q:  So, how much will I be charged each month?

A:  Because each customer enjoys a different level of service there is not an easy answer.  To determine your future bill under our new monthly billing system you just need to perform a simple calculation:  multiply your currently weekly charge by 52 weeks and divide by 12 months.   The result will be equal to your new monthly bill.

5.    Q:  Will I get charged extra for any overlaps in service?

A:  No, the weekly invoices you have received in March cover your service through March 30th.  The monthly invoice you will receive in April is for service beginning April 1st.  If you started service in March, you will see charges for both March and April on your April invoice.

6.    Q: When will I receive my statement?

A: Statements will be sent at the end of each month to recognize payments received during that month.

7.     Q:  When will my credit card be charged?

A:    Your credit cards will be charged on the fifth day of every month.  When the fifth happens to land on a weekend or holiday your credit card will be charged on the closest business day immediately preceding or following the fifth.

8.    Q:  Why does my invoice look different?

A:  Along with moving to monthly billing we have taken steps to make your bill easier to read and understand.  Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions that you may have.
