TIPS for Using Your New YachtWorld.com

To all of you who took the time to call or email us about our new website, a huge thanks!  I am proud to say that we have had an overwhelmingly positive response to our new design and search.  Most of you find the site easier to use, but some of you find the changes more challenging, so we thought it would be a good idea to provide you with a series of tips that will help you maximize your YachtWorld.com experience.

Here are this week’s TIPS, based on the top three questions we’ve been asked over the last two days:

TIP #1:    LOGGING INTO BOAT WIZARD.  Instead of logging into Boat Wizard from the homepage of YachtWorld.com, please login directly via www.boatwizard.com.

TIP #2:    SELECT FROM THREE LISTING VIEWS: TABLE, GALLERY AND DETAILS.  One of the best things about our new search results page is that consumers now have more ways to view listings, and can set their default accordingly (see below).  For those of you who prefer seeing listings without the thumbnail photos, for example, you just click to set that as your default.

TIP #3:    HOW TO SEARCH.  Type in your keyword in the Search box or click on the Search box to get a drop-down menu.  That allows you to make a quick search using the data fields.  You can also use Advanced Search to make more detailed queries.

As I said in some of my personal responses to you, a primary focus for us in revising the YachtWorld website was to provide a more useful, relevant and engaging customer experience – while continuing to provide the quality products and services our brokers deserve.  We believe that, by continuing to work closely with you, our boating customers will have the best online boat shopping experience possible – and you’ll sell more boats!

In the meantime, please continue to let us know what you think!
