In a deal completed over the last two weeks, the Northern California Marine Association agreed to merge its Pacific Power Boat Expo with Sail America’s Strictly Sail Pacific show, April 15-19, 2009. The two shows were planned for consecutive weekends, as usual, along the docks of Jack London Square in Oakland, California, and while the show organizers have considered combining forces in the past, the opportunity to share costs and increase the critical mass of the show tipped the balance this year.
