If you use BoatWizard to manage your customer data as well as your boat data, you will see the button LEADS & CONTACTS in the top left corner of this screen. This LEAD MANAGER is one of the most important areas of BoatWizard, and we have a team of people whose full-time job is to maintain and improve this huge database all day, every day. In response to your comments on LEADS & CONTACTS, we have made a number of significant improvements to the speed and efficiency of this area over recent weeks. To increase the speed even more, there is one thing you can do that will have more impact than anything we can do – view it through a faster browser. Here is how.

A browser is the program that you use to view the internet through. Most of you start this process by clicking a blue “e” on your computer, which then connects you to the internet. This is a thing called Internet Explorer, to which there are faster and more powerful alternatives. The best of these is Mozilla Firefox. Firefox is a much faster and more efficient way to view all websites, is easy to download and will end your frustrations about connection speed to any secure servers, including BoatWizard.

To start the process, go to www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox and click on the green box that says “free download”. Follow the instructions on the screen. It will take no more than about 2 minutes to download, during which Firefox will automatically import the important things you use from Internet Explorer, such as bookmarks, favourites and passwords.

Once downloaded, a Firefox icon will appear on your desktop. Simply click on this every time you want to use the internet instead of using the blue “e”, particularly when you are accessing BoatWizard.
