Are your customers getting in contact with you? Recently it has come to our attention that leads are getting lost as a result of over zealous spam filters. Please use the following easy steps to ensure that you are receiving all of your leads.1. Is your contact information updated? The number one reasons that brokers have for not receiving leads is out of date information in BoatWizard.
- Log into BoatWizard
- Click on “contact information”
- Make sure your email and phone number are correct
2. Verify your lead volume with Traffic Reporter
- Log into BoatWizard
- Click on “traffic reporter”
- Select the date range you would like to query using the To and From fields
- Select Report Type: Detailed List
- Select Search Criteria: Emails
- Does this number match up with the number of leads you receive in your email inbox.
3. If step two highlights a discrepancy in the number of emails that you are receiving this indicates that emails are getting caught in a spam filter. You will need to make sure that emails from YachtWorld.com are not getting blocked by your email program. Today, many businesses have several layers of spam filtering.
- Do you use an email client such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Entourage or Mac Mail or web based email such as Hotmail, yahoo mail or Gmail?
- All of these email programs will filter spam.
- Check the spam folder.
- Click on any email from YachtWorld.com that you find in that folder.
- Select “allow sender” or “allow domain” to ensure that your leads will get delivered.
Your company may have enterprise level email filtering. If this is the case ask your systems administrator to add YachtWorld.com to their list of safe email addresses. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have regarding receiving leads from YachtWorld.com.
