After many months of research and planning, the Association of Brokers & Yacht Agents (ABYA) and the Boat Retailers Brokers Association (BRBA) have combined to recognise the high standards of professionalism in the industry with a new Boat Sales Qualification. You are invited to the trade and press launch on the Yacht Brokers Village stand at the forthcoming Southampton Boat Show.

The Boat Sales Qualification has been designed to recognise the competence and experience of those selling new and second-hand boats. The qualification covers all aspects of the selling process, with the aim of giving customers piece of mind when buying from a BRBA/ABYA qualified broker. 

The qualification includes mandatory requirements that ask for the broker to provide workplace evidence that they have met customer requirements and completed the sale and successful handover of a number of boats. The first brokers who have already met these standards will be presented with their qualifications at the launch in Southampton. We look forward to seeing you there.
