As part of our effort to keep our databases clear of inaccurate data, we are making two big changes next week. Both will go live on Tuesday 9th in the evening (GMT).

The first change is to the boat TYPE categories in BoatWizard. This should help you select a more appropriate type for the boat you are listing and help visitors find your listings more easily in a search. As well as adding some new types, we are going to eliminate some classes that are similar to anothers with a much higher search rate. There is nothing for you to do, as we are handling all the migration of current classes to the more streamlined database.

We will also be updating our list of countries to conform to the ISO list of countries. From the morning of Wednesday 10th, you will be able to see these new lists in BoatWizard when entering listings and searching the MLS. These changes will also be made live to the public on YachtWorld.com.
