We are delighted to announce that the YachtWorld Brokers Village at the Southampton Boat Show will be run in partnership with ABYA and the BRBA. Both associations have identified the Brokers Village as a high profile way to champion professional yacht brokerage in the UK, which we will be supporting with the following initiatives:

• ABYA and BRBA branding will be displayed on the boats of those members who participate in the Brokers Village
• ABYA and BRBA branding will feature on all of the Brokers Village panels around the stand, which has been newly located overlooking the main marina in Mayflower Park
• ABYA and BRBA members will receive an entry in the show catalogue
• ABYA and BRBA staff will be on hand to advise boat buyers of the right questions to ask a professional yacht broker when buying a boat
• all visitors to the Brokers Village will be given their own copy of ”The Boat Buyers Guide” written jointly by ABYA, the BRBA and the RYA
• The YachtWorld Magazine will highlight the reasons why you should buy a boat through a professional broker. It will also look at the HMRC’s innovative Custom Warehousing Scheme
• We are in discussions with both associations over the best way to use the Brokers Village as a platform to announce their new brokers qualification
